Problem With It, Plains (6/10)

Plains is the new collaborative project/band of Waxahatchee and Jess Williamson. As a huge Waxahatchee fan, of course, I had to review this first single they released on 6/27/22. I just love Katie Crutchfield's voice so much, so I like most everything she sings in. That said, I didn't really find this song anything special/one of my favorites of hers. It's a solid and catchy country/indie folk tune with a great guitar solo at the end, and I definitely do like it, but as the first drop from this new band, I was a bit disappointed as I think I was really looking for something special/exciting/novel. Anyways, it's still good, and I look forward to following Plains' trajectory!
