Pharmacist, Alvvays (7/10)

After a very long five year hiatus, Alvvays is back with new music -- this first single and the announcement of the album, "Blue Rev" out on October 7th. I'm not the biggest Alvvays fan, but I do like some of their stuff and I was still excited about this announcement. Was a bit disappointed by this song tbh... but then I got to the last 30 seconds where they absolutely shreddddddd. And with more listens, the first 2.5 minutes get more catchy as well, and the song has really grown on me. But yeah that last 30 seconds are definitely the highlight. Excited to get some more content from them.
