Icons, Two Shell (6/10)

Icons is the newest five-track EP of London based producers Two Shell. In the vein of Future Islands or Four Tet or other bass-loaded beat-heavy strange electronic music, the EP is weird and funky and has some really dope beats. On the techno side, it leans kind of outer space - with some alien and robotic sounds almost as if you are on a space ship at points. While most of the EP is a bit too strange for me to listen to on a regular basis, it's still a fun listen and I fuck with the first track ("Ghosts") a lotttt. Would be pretty fun to see them at a club. Favorite tracks: Ghosts, Dust
