Cardboard Box, FLO (9/10)

Cardboard Box is the first release (a single) of the new UK band, FLO. Their bio reads: "We're 3 young women of colour trying to empower people like us and anyone that needs it." And that's pretty accurate. This song fuckin is so good!!!!! Their sound is super r&b poppy in the realm of Destiny's Child or Mariah Carey or maybe even TLC except that they're super young! It's awesome. Have had this one on repeat lately. They also released an acoustic version where you can hear their vocal talents even more as they harmonize. They have another single coming out on July 6 ("Immature"), and I'm sure are going to blow up very soon. You will definitely be seeing them around. :D
