Tried To Understand, SASAMI & J Mascis (7/10)

Sasami has released a new version of "Tried to Understand," off of her most recent album, Squeeze. This version features J Mascis and Ty Segall on drums and is a hot, grungier, fucking rock version of the original more twangy indie pop song. It's a bangin track for sure, and I really fuck with it - probably more so than the original song which I also enjoy. In classic Segall fashion, it's extremely rock. WAHHHHH sasami is god
