Marcy Playground, Marcy Playground (5/10)

So I heard a song from this album, "Sex & Candy," a few weeks ago and loved it, so I decided to listen to the whole album. Although the album is from 1997 and preceded these bands, it sounds a bit like a mix of Green Day and Jack Johnson. Honestly, I was rather disappointed by the album which did not live up to the song I love so much. It's rock but a bit boring and sometimes a bit poppy. Sad when that happens, but there's a few good tracks. Favorite tracks: Sex & Candy, Poppies, One More Suicide
