Send the Pain Below, Midwife (7/10)

So here we have a new single Midwife dropped covering Chevelle's "Send the Pain Below." Super emo, shoegazey dream pop. For all the reasons I fuck with Midwife, I fuck with this song. And it was a great song for them to cover cuz it turns what was once emo rock into softer dream pop but the lyrics work so well for both. Builds up for about 3 minutes before getting more rock-y in the last two minutes which is dope. Was generally impressed.
