i don't know who needs to hear this..., Tomberlin (6/10)

I'd seen a lot of hype about this album which just dropped today, and I had also decently liked the singles Tomberlin had dropped/I like some of Tomberlin's old stuff for sure; so I was excited to listen to this album. It pretty much met expectations, not exceeded or underwhelmed. Tomberlin has a very pure, soft, lovely voice and has pretty good lyrics - but tbh a lot of the songs on this album sound very similar. Soft, indie, lullaby like even when they are a bit louder. It's good, and if you like Tomberlin, you will like the album. Nothing astounded me, though. Favorite tracks: easy, collect caller, idkwntht
