11:11, Pinegrove (5/10)

I like some of Pinegrove's songs a lot (Aphasia), so I was excited to listen to this album which came out in January and which I had heard generally good things about. A bit disappointed with this one sadly. It's very Pinegrovey with Evan Stephans Hall's signature voice and general indie pop/rock feel. Idk though, all the songs sounded very similar to me with none standing out as particularly amazing. It's still pleasant to listen to, but nothing to write home about. Favorite tracks: Orange, Flora
