Roses, Widowspeak (8/10)

 Widowspeak put out their latest album, "Roses" w Captured Tracks on 6/5/26. I'd really been enjoying the singles, especially "The Driver" and "Soft Cover, and was really excited for the release. It honestly took me like 3 tries to get through the album though bc I kept feeling like the songs were starting to sound the same halfway through. I've just made myself finish it, and I do think it's a very solid one w some real bangers, but some of them were a little eh for me. I'm sure if I listened to all of them a bunch, I'd love each individually, but they started to sound similar. Molly Hamilton's voice is just sooooooooo sexy and Robert Earl Thomas is so good at guitar. Lots of sick riffs. Very sexy music overall. I do recommend. Fav tracks: The Driver, Soft Cover, If You Change
